SAVANNAH, Ga. — Savannah-Chatham police say they’re searching for three suspects in the shooting death of a Savannah College of Art and Design student.
Police say 20-year-old Sean Giroir died Thursday night at Memorial University Medical Center from wounds he suffered in the Thursday afternoon shooting. Metro police spokesman Julian Miller says Giroir was from Houston, Texas. Miller says 21-year-old Mike Levi also was wounded and was being treated at the same hospital.
Miller says officers responded to reports of the shooting and found Giroir and Levi with gunshot wounds. Police Sgt. Robert Gavin says three men had taken items from a house, and a struggle had ensued outside the residence when shots were fired.
