JONESBORO, Ga. — Police are searching for a gunman in a Monday night quadruple shooting in Jonesboro, police said.
Clayton County police officers swarmed the Regal Pointe Apartments on Mount Zion Boulevard at 10:15 p.m. after gunfire erupted.Officers said the shooting happened in a parking lot near the intersection of Mount Zion Boulevard. and Maddox Road.
One person died, and three others were injured, Clayton County police Sgt. Otis Willis said.Police said they don’t have much information and they are depending on interviews with the surviving victims.“Young adults, that’s what I can tell you about them,” Willis told Channel 2’s Darryn Moore.Police said they don’t have a description of the gunman.
