ATLANTA — Atlanta police said a woman who was kidnapped during an early-morning carjacking has been found.
Capt. Van Hobbs of the Atlanta Police Department said a woman was kidnapped from an apartment complex on Camellia Lane, near the Lindbergh MARTA Station, just before 4 a.m. Wednesday.
Police: Woman Kidnapped During Carjacking
Investigators said two SUVs filled with six or seven men approached a man and his girlfriend in a parking deck. Police said the men pistol-whipped the man and kidnapped the woman before leaving in his car.
Hobbs said the woman was found at the Westlake MARTA Station in southwest Atlanta. There was no word on her condition.
The investigation continues.
