ATLANTA — The public can still meet with lending institutions to discuss their mortgage and foreclosure problems at the Georgia International Convention Center.
Saturday is the last day of a two-day program. About 21 lenders representing 80 percent of the mortgage market are represented and non-profit credit counselors are offering guidance to people whose lenders are not present.
Representatives from Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and the Treasury Department will be on hand to discuss the White House mortgage crisis program, known as the Making Home Affordable program.
Saturday’s program is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
