Mugshot of Justin Timberlake on June 18th, 2024 in Sag Harbor, New York.

During the early morning hours of June 18th, 2024, 43-year-old Justin Timberlake, followed a few friends home while traveling on Main Street in Sag Harbor, New York. He allegedly only had “one martini”, was described to have “bloodshot and glossy eyes”, and refused to take a breathalyzer test.

According to the officer that pulled him over, he had no idea who Timberlake was.

“Justin said under his breath, ‘This is going to ruin the tour.’ The cop replied, ‘What tour?’ Justin said, ‘The world tour,'” an unknown source told Page Six News.

According to law enforcement officials, Timberlake did not stop at a stop sign and struggled to stay on the correct side of the road before being pulled over. Police documents obtained by Fox News Digital report that Timberlake had “bloodshot and glossy” eyes, a “strong odor of an alcoholic beverage” on his breath, and was “unable to divide attention.” The former NSYNC member also demonstrated “slowed speech” and was “unsteady on his feet,” performing poorly on all standardized field sobriety tests.

On Wednesday, June 19th, Ed Burke (Timberlake’s lawyer) addressed the arrest in a statement to Fox News Digital, saying, “I look forward to vigorously defending Mr. Timberlake against these allegations. I will have more to say at the appropriate time but am currently awaiting full discovery from the District Attorney’s office.”

According to Page Six News, the police officer who stopped Timberlake was “so young that he didn’t even know” who the singer was. An insider mentioned that the officer “didn’t recognize [Timberlake] or his name.” Another insider reported that Timberlake muttered under his breath, “This is going to ruin the tour,” to which the officer responded, “What tour?” Timberlake replied, “The world tour.”

The 10-time Grammy Award winner is currently on “The Forget Tomorrow World Tour” and is scheduled to perform in Chicago on Friday.
