ROSWELL, Ga. —
A firefighter was hurt battling a blaze at a Roswell apartment complex.
Crews were called out the Concepts 21 apartment complex on Old Holcomb Bridge Road just before 3 p.m.
Flames could be seen spewing from the roof of the complex as New Chopper 2 flew over.
One firefighter was hurt trying to fight the flames. Officals said the firefighter sustained an injury to his face, but was expected to be OK.
Fire officials said the flames destroyed about three-quarters of one of the apartment buildings.
Residents said police banged on their doors to alert them to the fire.
Fire ripped through at least 8 units in the building, officials said.
Investigators were uncertain how many people were going to be displaced from the balze.
The Red Cross said they would be providing food and shelter for those displaced.
Firefighters are still trying to determine a cause of the fire.
