CUMMING, Ga. — Three people are dead after a late night fire in north Georgia.
Firefighters said the fire broke out in a trailer along Little Mill Road in Cumming just before 11 p.m. Saturday.
Someone driving by stopped at the fire station to report the fire, there was never a 911 call made, according to fire investigators.
Friends who stopped by the home told Channel 2’s Rebecca Lindstrom a mother and her two adult children lived inside the home.
Investigators identified the victims as Sue Iams, 77, Thomas Iams, 54, and Kimberly Iams, 47.
Fire investigators told Lindstrom something didn’t seem right about the fire but are not comfortable calling it suspicious at this point.
The fire department said investigators from the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office have been called in to help.
Firefighters said the cause of the fire has been ruled accidental.
