WASHINGTON, D.C. – The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced Aug. 4 that CVS Pharmacy Inc. has agreed to pay a $45,000 civil penalty to resolve allegations that it knowingly failed to report that it had sold children’s hooded jackets with drawstrings at the neck (In the Matter of CVS Pharmacy Inc., CPSC Docket No. 11-C0007).
