ATLANTA — Atlanta police said a group of men with guns forced their way into a home in northeast Atlanta.

Police told Channel 2 that three men armed with assault rifles and guns broke into the apartment on Hardee Street shortly after 1 a.m. Tuesday.

Two adults and two children were home at the time, investigators said.The residents said the men ransacked the home, but didn’t find what they were looking for.The men fled before police arrived.
