ATLANTA – The 11th Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals on July 26 upheld summary judgment for a tire manufacturer in a wrongful death action, agreeing that the plaintiff failed to show that a tire that separated, causing a deadly vehicle crash, had a design defect (Adam B. Beauregard, et al. v. Continental Tire North America Inc., No. 10-13162, 11th Cir.; 2011 U.S. App. LEXIS 15507).
